15 and over
Runners must be 15 or over on race day, in line with England Athletics rules. Younger children have the fun run.
500 places
The race is licensed for 500 runners (provisional). If demand supports it we will look at extending the licence, but do not count on it.
Yes, up to a cut-off
Transfers to another runner are handled through Entry Point up to a cut-off before the race. Never run under someone else's number.

One ear only
Bone-conduction or single-ear headphones are fine. Both ears covered is not allowed, because parts of the course are shared paths.

It is a friendly, inclusive event. If you expect to take more than about two hours, let us know so the marshals expect you.
How do I enter?
Online, through Entry Point, the race's entry platform: every Enter now button on this site takes you there. 2026 sold out, so do not leave it late.
How much is it?
£22 for the 10k, or £20 if you are affiliated to a club through England Athletics — the discount is required by our race licence, so bring your URN when you enter. The kids' fun run is free, and the race T-shirt is an optional extra you add to your entry.
Is there a race T-shirt?
Yes, and it is optional: you add it to your entry when you enter, so nobody pays for one they do not want. It is a proper technical running T-shirt carrying the year's design and our sponsors' logos, and you collect it with your race number on the day. Sizes are ordered in advance, so it cannot be added after entries close.
Can I transfer my place to someone else?
Transfers are handled through the entry platform up to a cut-off date before the race. The terms are shown on Entry Point when you enter. Please do not run under someone else's number: it invalidates the insurance and the results.
Can I get a refund?
The refund and deferral rules are shown on Entry Point before you pay, so have a read as you enter.
How old do I need to be?
Runners must be 15 or over on race day to run the 10k, in line with England Athletics rules. Younger children have the fun run.
How much is the kids' fun run?
Nothing. The fun run is free for every child, and an adult running alongside a younger child goes free too. Children still need a place, so register them when fun run entries open. Every finisher gets a medal or a certificate.
