The Riverbank Challenge is back for 2027, and it's going to be a whole day
Save the date: Sunday 18 July 2027. The 10k, a kids' fun run, and an event village that runs into the evening.
Thank you to everyone who ran, marshalled, cheered, baked and sponsored in 2026. Three hundred and fifty of you lined up on the riverbank, the race sold out, and the medal has been photographed on more kitchen tables than we can count.
For 2027 we are making it a whole day, at a new home: Goole Town Cricket Club on Carr Lane. The 10k starts at 11:00 on Sunday 18 July 2027. When the runners are in, the kids' fun run takes over, and the event village runs on through the afternoon and into the evening: food from the venue, dessert and coffee traders, bouncy castles, face painting, games, music and entertainment.
